Trainee Selection - Sharpen Your Mind with the Best

Roland Berger is an internationally operating strategic consultancy firm and, for the third year, a partner of  Refugee Talent Hub. This partnership offers a unique opportunity: two traineeship positions for a duration of one year! The business case provides a great chance to get to know the type of work and the company better.

Business Case

Solve a case study and discover how a top strategic consultancy firm operates. You'll work on a real-life business case and have the opportunity to present your solution. During the training, participants will be divided into 4 teams of 4-5 Refugee Talents, supported by a (senior) consultant from Roland Berger, to collaboratively develop a creative and well-thought-out strategic solution.

You

We are looking for refugee talents with excellent analytical skills, a strong interest in consulting, and a passion for working in this field. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, are client-focused, and driven to come up with the best ideas. Additionally, you meet the following criteria:

• You have a status.
• You have English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
• You have Dutch proficiency at a minimum B1 level.
• You are available full-time starting April 2025.
• You have completed an university degree.

This case day is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ins and outs of strategy consulting, showcase your abilities, and present yourself to Roland Berger. After the case day, a number of candidates will be selected and invited to the selection day in March.

While Roland Berger is committed to hiring talents with a refugee background, this business case day is your chance to learn from the best and make a great impression—however, it does not guarantee a job.

Key Dates

• Tuesday, February 18th: Business case day from 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, including a walking dinner.
• Tuesday, March 11th: Selection day.
• April 2025: Start of the 1-year traineeship (if you successfully complete the previous rounds).

Travel Expenses

Travel expenses to and from the event will be reimbursed.
