What exactly are you going to do?
You will spend 6 months working in one of these three departments and gain work experience in the operations of an international company. The Sales , Logistics and Technology departments are looking for new colleagues within operations who are strong communicators and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. Within your role, you maintain contacts with various stakeholders such as our customers, other departments and various suppliers and you are a real organizer!

Sales Department
In the Sales department, you will work closely with an enthusiastic team of account managers in the Business Unit Dairy Ingredients and support them so that they can focus on the business. You will provide support in the administrative and organizational field in the broadest sense of the word. You are the connecting link between the Trade, Logistics, Technology and Quality Assurance departments.

Department of Technology
In a team of enthusiastic colleagues you contribute to the Technology department. You have close contact with your colleagues as well as with the external production locations and laboratories. The most important tasks and responsibilities are: releasing the end product to the customer; compiling, with colleagues from the commercial, samples for the (potential) customers; processing production orders; managing and handling complaints; checking the incoming goods and supporting productions where necessary.

Logistics Department
In Logistics you work in a team with experienced colleagues and are responsible for managing planning and logistics processes. You are fully aware of the expected production planning of the producers. You communicate directly with business partners such as producers, carriers, storage and processing facilities and customers.

 What do we ask of you?

  •  You are a status holder;
  •  You are good at organizing, maintaining administration and you like to work according to processes;
  •  You communicate all day long: writing, speaking, listening with many different people (e.g. customers, suppliers and colleagues);
  •  You have a minimum command of the Dutch language at language level B1, preferably at language level B2;
  •  If your Dutch is not (yet) at B2 level, you are fluent in English;
  •  You preferably have an administrative background;
  •  You live in the Arnhem area, or you are willing to travel to work.
  •  You are available 32-40 hours per week.

About the Meet-and-greet
Have you been selected for the Meet-and-greet? Then you will get to know Hoogwegt on September 26. At the Meet-and-greet you will receive more information about the Sales, Logistics and Technology departments within Hoogwegt and about the available work-study programs. If there is a match on both sides after the introduction, a second interview will follow.

To prepare you for the Meet-and-greet, Refugee Talent Hub is organizing a mandatory online prep session on September 23, 15:00.

Important information:

  •  Online prep session - Monday September 23, 15:00 - 16:00 (online via Microsoft Teams);
  •  Live Meet-and-greet 2024 - September 26, 14:00 - 16:30 (Arnhem);
  •  You will hear in the week of October 7th at the latest whether you have been selected for a follow-up interview at Hoogwegt. This interview will follow as soon as possible.

Travel expenses (public transport or own car) are reimbursed, but please note that only the costs incurred on the day itself for transport from your home to the activity and back are reimbursed. Read our travel expenses policy carefully.
