Meet-and-greet: opportunities for IT-talents
There are many IT vacancies at Achmea that may be suitable for status holders. Achmea, NewBees, and Refugee Talent Hub are organizing a one-year program in which status holders will work in a paid position at Achmea and receive guidance in professional development and, if needed, language support. Application Manager IT4IT:
This position is based in Apeldoorn and focuses on managing and maintaining test applications within the IT department, specifically for the DevOps Tool Chain and automated testing. A completed IT-related Applied Sciences degree (e.g., Computer Science or IT) is required, along with affinity or experience in application management. Knowledge of process modeling and IT processes (ITIL, Agile) is a plus.
Azure DevOps Specialist:
This position (in Apeldoorn) focuses on managing and optimizing the data infrastructure within the Data Delivery team, with a specific emphasis on Azure. Key skills include technical expertise in Azure data tooling and knowledge of reporting and provisioning. Responsibilities include managing authorizations, lifecycle management, continuity, and security, as well as proposing improvements and supporting teams in data-driven work.
Business Analyst ART Generic:
For this role (in Apeldoorn), a bachelor’s-level education (Applied Sciences) or equivalent work experience, analytical skills, and an affinity for IT are essential. Required skills include Agile/Scrum (preferably SAFe) and experience with functional specifications and IT architecture. You will work with technologies such as .NET, Sitecore XM Cloud, React, and Kotlin to support generic solutions for the corporate website and app.
Test Specialist ART Avero:
This position (in Apeldoorn) focuses on the Podium platform and CRM integration. Responsibilities include integration testing, chain testing, test automation (Cypress, Selenium, SpecFlow), CI/CD workflows, and improving test processes. Affinity with QA shift-left transitions and knowledge of the insurance market are a plus.
.NET Developer (Medior):
Responsibilities for this position (in Apeldoorn) include developing Web APIs, optimizing back-end functionalities, and contributing to a service mesh migration with OpenShift and .NET 8. Requirements: an Applied Sciences degree , 3+ years of experience with .NET, and familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and Agile working methods.
Test Specialist:
In this role (in Tilburg), you will design and execute (automated) tests, analyze findings, and work on integration and chain testing in a DevOps environment. Requirements: at least an Applied Sciences degree, experience with Agile workflows and test tools (Tosca, Selenium, SoapUI), and an affinity for scripting (Java, Groovy). Knowledge of TMAP/ISTQB is a plus.
Test Specialist IT Finance:
This is a senior test specialist role (in Apeldoorn) for a complex and dynamic Scrum team. Experience with Agile, SQL, TOSCA, and Python is required, along with knowledge of Test-Driven Development (chain testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing). You should hold one or more certifications, such as Test Foundation, TMap Next, ISTQB Foundation, or Certified Agile Tester (CAT).
Test Specialist for the Interpolis App:
In this role (in Tilburg), you will be responsible for testing the Interpolis app. You will safeguard software quality, develop automated tests, and ensure new functionalities are thoroughly tested. Experience with app software testing, including automated test creation, is required, along with a proactive attitude. Experience with testing in a Scrum team is a plus.
If you are selected for this Meet-and-Greet, you will have the opportunity to meet hiring managers and recruiters from Achmea. If there is a mutual match, you will be invited for a follow-up interview on December 20. If successful, you will receive a one-year employment contract.
Who are you?
- You have an educational background (university or Applied Sciences) in IT or a closely related field, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science/Data Analytics.
- You have knowledge of and/or experience with at least one of the roles described above.
- You hold a residence permit (status).
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English. If your Dutch is not at a B2 level yet, it is essential that you are fluent in English.
- You have an open, proactive attitude and are eager to learn. You are motivated to participate and are willing to make time for additional (language) coaching and/or training.

- A one-year employment contract in IT, with a competitive salary, at a large company with an informal and open culture.
