Triodos Bank Mentor Program
Finding a job with a refugee background is not always easy. For example, because you have a small network, know little about working in the Netherlands or meet few employers. To make finding a job easier, Triodos Bank and Refugee Talent Hub organize this mentor program for you. There is limited space, so register quickly for the Triodos Bank mentor program!
What is the mentor program?
During the mentor program you will receive support from a mentor from Triodos Bank for 5½ months. Together with your mentor, you will boost your professional development and find your way in the Dutch labor market. For example, your mentor can support you with the following topics:
- Setting goals for your career;
- Discover what your ambitions / talents / competencies / skills / development points are;
- Discover which jobs / sectors / companies / training / courses suit you;
- Create a CV, motivation letter and LinkedIn page to present yourself even better on the Dutch labor market;
- Practice with job interviews;
- Practice networking and learn how to grow your professional network;
During the mentor program, your mentor will share his knowledge, skills and professional network with you. But on the other hand, your mentor can also learn a lot from you! In addition, during the joint events and online check-ins you will learn more about the other mentees and mentors, about work in general and about Triodos Bank in particular.
What is the mentor program not?
The mentor program is not a full-time training . You will speak to your mentor approximately once a week for 5½ months. During those meetings you work on your professional development. In addition, your mentor will help you find your way in the Dutch labor market. You will also speak to the organization and other mentors and mentees during joint events and online check-ins. If you want to follow full-time training courses, you can work with your mentor to find full-time training courses that suit you.
The mentor program is not a job opportunity or guarantee of a job at Triodos Bank . The mentor program does increase your chance of getting a job on the Dutch labor market, because it increases your network, skills and knowledge of the Dutch labor market.

- You are present at the joint online and live events (see Important dates );
- From June 29, you can meet with your mentor online or in real life once a week for 5½ months;
- Required: your Dutch or English is at a sufficient level to participate in this mentor program;
- Your CV is in our database;
- You are enthusiastic and motivated to get the most out of the mentor program;
- You have access to a computer (with camera) and internet, which is necessary for video calling.

*Live meetings will take place in Driebergen and travel expenses will be reimbursed.

- Enhancing networking skills and learning how to identify opportunities to grow your network.
During the mentoring program, your mentor will share their knowledge, skills, and professional network with you. On the other hand, your mentor can also learn a lot from you! In addition, you will learn more about the other mentors and mentees, work in general, and Triodos Bank in particular during the joint events and online check-ins.
What is the mentoring program not?
