Why the energy sector?
The energy transition is happening fast. In the Netherlands, smart and motivated people are needed to help build a green future. Whether you already have a technical background or are looking for a new challenge, we offer you the opportunity to work at Alliander, Enexis or Tennet.
On February 27, 2025, various recruiters from Alliander, Enexis and TenneT are looking forward to meeting you and discovering together whether there is a match for our Energy Skills program, which starts on May 6, 2025 .
In addition, there is a preparatory session on February 25th in which we will introduce you to Energy Skills. During this session you will receive tips and tricks to increase your chances during the conversations with the recruiters during the speed date.
What do we offer?
- We offer a work-study program (while retaining benefits) for 15 status holders. In this program, called Energy Skills, you will learn the theory from experienced professionals and gain practical experience at company schools and electricity stations at various locations.
- You will learn technical skills , practice your Dutch and get to know the Dutch work culture . This will give you a good picture of the Dutch labor market and you will learn what it is like on the work floor of our partners.
- After successfully completing this apprenticeship, you will graduate as a mechanic/technician within (the network of) Alliander, Enexis or Tennet.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with:
- Technical affinity and motivation : you like working with your hands
- Mastery of the Dutch language at B1 level
- Availability 4 days a week (32 hours) , from May to August 2025
- A residence permit to work in the Netherlands
- A driver's license or the willingness to obtain a driver's license B
- (Voluntary) work experience in the Netherlands

- Mandatory preparation session (online): February 25 from 10:00 to 11:00
- Speed dating event (on location) : February 27 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
