As a Senior QA Engineer, you contribute to become more data-driven by focusing on innovation within your department. You stay up to date on the latest developments and you mentor your team members in becoming technical experts. You support and guide them, so they can become the technical experts that contribute to a future-proof bank.
Within the Corporate Credits Grid, we work with:
- Home build Java applications running on Azure
- Commercial of the shelf applications, running within our own data center or as SaaS
- Tibco for workflows
- Cobol & Mainframe for heavy processing
- Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory for data engineering
Your job
- As a Senior QA Engineer, you work within a scrum team to deliver reliable and future-proof IT solutions.
- You test new features on multiple levels, create and execute test plans, and perform both manual and automated testing.
- You translate business processes into functional scenarios, contribute to early product discussions, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- You identify opportunities for test automation and can build or improve frameworks when needed.
- You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, coordinate integration activities, and maintain strong alignment with stakeholders. Working in a DevOps environment, you promote Agile and CI/CD practices while continuously developing your own skills and supporting knowledge sharing across teams.
Your profile
- You have a valid residence permit or receive temporary EU protection (e.g., for Ukrainians).
- You have an excellent command of the English language
- You have 5+ years of working experience in the field of testing.
- Have experience with manual testing, automation testing, and database testing
- Understand code and know how to work with Java and Python in order to maintain test automation framework.
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory is a plus
- You are curious, you like to challenge requirements and identify weak points!
About the speeddate
Selected candidates will receive an assessment. Based on the results, you may be invited for an interview. There are two rounds: one technical interview and one soft-skills/cultural fit interview with the Product Owner and another team member. To prepare you for the speeddate, a mandatory online prep session will take place by Refugee Talent Hub on 25 May.
