About the positions

6-Month Work Experience Position: Field Marketing Execution Associate 

The Field Marketing Execution Associate will be a core member of the BeLux field marketing team. The Execution Associate will work in support of the overall marketing team. They will support the execution of campaigns and events, to attract the attention of new buyers and influencers, build demand, and influence existing pipeline through direct and partner engagement.

Main responsibilities will involve:

  •  Executing campaigns across all marketing channels including digital marketing, events, webinars, email marketing, content, account-based marketing etc.
  •  Manage the administration of marketing campaigns.
  •  Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (Sales, Industry Advisors, Centre of Excellence, Presales, etc) to support and roll out campaigns.
  •  Prepare internal communications, presentations, and materials.
  •  Support the marketing team in all campaign activities including data analytics, reporting and other administrative tasks.

What is expected from you in this role?

  •  Campaign management experience; managing multiple tasks/ deadlines.
  •  Experience in the software/high-tech industry is a nice to have.
  •  Desire to learn multiple tools and solutions.

6-Month Work Experience Position: Business Development Representative 

  • You will be part of the Business Development EMEA team of SAP SuccessFactors.
  • The team is looking for a motivated, curious, and proactive person who wants to support their amazing SAP SuccessFactors sales and business development team in Netherlands. In this role you will become an integrated member of the team and would own a variety of responsibilities and take part in a few key programs.
  • This is a great learning experience to see firsthand how a high-performance software sales team functions and to play an important role in the daily administration of our tools and processes. Leveraging your creativity to develop high-quality sales and marketing materials and communications for internal and external use.

Your diverse tasks will include:

  • Supporting maintenance of the sales automation tool (Outreach) for enriching data and clean up.
  • Support the sales and tele sales team in executing on sales campaigns.
  • Build and enhance new sales and marketing materials.
  • Drive competitive analysis.
  • Examine sales reporting processes to detect and follow-up on new sales opportunities.
  • Support in the execution of campaigns and events, to attract the attention of new buyers and
  • influencers, build demand.

What is expected from you in this role?

  • Technical understanding and affinity for IT solutions

6-Month Work Experience Position: Finance Associate 

Within the Finance department you will contribute to several different roles, such as a Commercial Business Partner, Controlling and Accounts Receivables.

 Commercial Business Partner:

 The Commercial Business Partner will support the Sales teams and manage a variety of commercial contracts in accordance with the SAP policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.

The role has a very strong commercial focus. The Commercial Business Partner will need to work closely with the sales teams with a pro-active approach and often take a central role in customer negotiations, advising on deal structure, providing detailed pricing information, identifying risk and revenue recognition risks and finding practical commercial solutions to meet the needs of the business.

 Controlling:

In this role, you are part of the Business Area Controlling team for EMEA North Sales supporting Market Unit (MU) Netherlands. Main tasks are performing the financial forecast, monitoring performance, and driving action plans as well as cascading the yearly budgets. To successfully manage this task and further strengthen our support for our stakeholders we are looking for an associate/senior controller with first professional experience, preferably from working in an international company to complete our controlling setup

 Accounts Receivables:

The main task is the proactive management of a demanding customer portfolio to ensure timely payment of all open invoices. A key element in this role is interaction and communication with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment, and as such requires advanced communication and language skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Commercial Business Partner’s responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and drafting contracts (incl. Addenda/Amendments) to the SAP standard Software Licence, Cloud and Maintenance Agreements.
  • Reviewing and commenting on deal structures provided by the Account Executives (including discounts).
  • Ensuring the SAP approval process has been followed.

Controlling responsibilities will include:

  • Act as trusted Business Partner and support the Market Unit Netherlands management to successfully steer business.
  • Responsible for month-end closing activities (e.g. performing checks and analysis for both cloud bookings and on-premise software, checking correctness of expenses postings), then delivering the latest estimate during quarter-end closing.
  • Drive business critical controlling activities like forecast, budget, closing as well as delivering high-quality actuals analysis with regards to P&L, headcounts, etc. in cooperation with MU controllers and specialized controlling team.
  • Coordinate and support the controlling and reporting activities within the team, interact and cooperate with key finance/business stakeholders, act as a trusted advisor on financial topics (FC, QBR, dashboards, cross-topics productivity, etc.).

Accounts Receivables responsibilities will include:

  •  Support NL Market Unit and integrate an experience team split between NL and Prague.
  •  Support our cash collection efforts to increase overall SAP Cash Flow by managing open receivables.
  •  Interact daily with customers and SAP internal department such as Commercial teams, Billing department, Sales Community and others.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies to ensure timely payments.
  • Spot risks and ensure timely escalation to management,  Meet Cash Collection KPI and participate to process implementation and development.

What is expected from you in this role:

  •  Good knowledge of general corporate business practices and commercial contracting regulations and principles.
  •  Be able to quickly identify risks and issues and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution and escalating matters within the business where necessary.
  •  Work well and remain calm under pressure.
  •  A confident individual who is happy to liaise and communicate at all levels within a company including with the CFO and Commercial Director.

What we expect from you (standard for all 3 positions)

  • You have a status in the Netherlands
  • You are able to join the live meet-and-greet at the SAP Netherlands office on October 14th from 10:00 – 13:00 as part of the selection process.
  • You are available to join the online preparation session on Wednesday October 9th from 10:00-11:00
  • You are available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from December 1st
  • You are able to work from the SAP office in ‘s-Hertogenbosch for at least three days a week (that means that you live in the area of 's-Hertogenbosch or have the opportunity to move there for the duration of the program)
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory) and Dutch (preferable, not necessary)
  • You hold a relevant Bachelor's degree
  • You have working experience relevant for one of the SAP departments as described
