This session is designed specifically for candidates with a refugee background, and will help you understand how LinkedIn can support your professional journey on the Dutch labor market, open up new opportunities and advance your career. What does the Q&A session involve?
This one-hour session is dedicated to your questions. You’ll have the opportunity to ask LinkedIn experts and Refugee Talent Hub anything you’d like to know about LinkedIn and topics such as:
- Your LinkedIn profile: How can you make your profile stand out and showcase your skills and experience?
- Networking: How can you grow your professional network and connect with the right people?
- Job searching: How can you use LinkedIn to discover job opportunities and increase your visibility to employers?
- LinkedIn Premium: What can you do with LinkedIn Premium and how can it support your career?
- Last but not least: free access to LinkedIn Premium to help you take your professional journey even further.
There will be plenty of time to ask your questions, so please come prepared with anything you would like to know about LinkedIn and your professional career in the Netherlands.

What do we expect from you?
- You have a refugee status.
- You are motivated to enhance your career prospects in the Dutch labor market.
- You already have a LinkedIn profile.
- You have access to a laptop with an internet connection.
- Your English is at a sufficient (at least B1) level to actively participate in the workshop.
Important!
- Before the Q&A session, you will receive a LinkedIn video to watch in advance. Watching this video is an important part of the session, so please make sure you watch it before Wednesday, 30 September.
- Attendance at the full Q&A session is mandatory. If you are selected, we expect you to attend the online session. Therefore, we ask that you review our no-show policy in advance.
- Please note that you will only receive the code for free LinkedIn Premium after attending the Q&A session. If you do not attend the session, you will not receive the code.
- The candidates who have joined one of our mentorship programmes before, are priority.
