As a woman with a refugee background, finding a job is not always easy. For example, because you have a small network, know little about working in the Netherlands or meet few employers. To make finding a job easier, ManpowerGroup and Refugee Talent Hub, as executive partner of Tent Partnership for Refugees, are organizing this mentoring program for you.
ManpowerGroup and Refugee Talent Hub are organizing a mentoring program for women. For this program, we are looking for women with a refugee background who are looking for help in finding a job. You will be matched with a mentor from ManpowerGroup for 6 months. Together with this mentor, you will boost your professional development. From March 8, 2025 International Women's Day, you can register for the kick-off on May 22, 2025. There is limited space, so register quickly for the ManpowerGroup mentoring program for women!

About the mentoring program
This program focuses on the specific opportunities and challenges women may face in finding work. Your ManpowerGroup mentor will help you one-on-one with things like:
- Setting goals for your career and mentoring program;
- Creating or improving your resume;
- Create a professional LinkedIn page to present yourself even better on the Dutch job market;
- Prepare for future job applications by practicing interview questions and discussing common next steps when applying to a company;
- Practice networking and learn how to grow your professional network.
On the one hand, your mentor will share his/her knowledge, skills and professional network with you. But on the other hand, your mentor can also learn a lot from you! During the physical meetings and online check-ins, you will learn more about each other, about work in general and about ManpowerGroup in particular.

As a newcomer, you may have a small professional network, know little about the Dutch labor market, and find it difficult to meet employers. In addition, women are underrepresented in the Dutch labor market. Almost half of women in the Netherlands are not financially independent. For women with a refugee background, this percentage is even higher. Through this mentoring program, ManpowerGroup offers an opportunity to help you overcome these challenges and empower women!
What do we expect from you?
- You identify as a woman;
- You have a refugee background;
- You are looking for a job and would like help with this;
- You attend the joint online and live events ( see Important dates );
- From March 11, 2024, you can meet your mentor online or in person once a week for 4 months;
- Required: Your English is at a sufficient level to participate in this mentoring program;
- Your CV is in our database;
- You are enthusiastic and motivated to get the most out of the mentoring program;
- You have access to a computer (with camera) and internet, which is necessary for video calling.
