Mentoring program for financial professionals

Finding a job with a refugee background can be challenging. For example, because you have a small professional network, know little about the Dutch labor market and job application procedures, or find it difficult to meet employers. To overcome these challenges, Triodos Bank and Refugee Talent Hub are offering this programme to you. To overcome these challenges, Triodos Bank and Refugee Talent Hub are offering this programme to you. There is limited space, so register quickly for the Triodos Bank Mentoring Programme!

What is the mentoring program?

During the mentoring program, you will receive 4 ½ months of guidance from a Triodos Bank mentor. Together, you will stimulate your professional development and find your way in the Dutch labor market. You will receive support from your mentor in several ways, including:

  • Discover what your talents / ambitions / competencies / skills / development points are;
  • Discover which careers / jobs / sectors / companies / courses / training suits you;
  • Improve your CV / LinkedIn page / cover letters to better present yourself on the Dutch job market;
  • Practice job interviews;
  • Improve your networking skills and learn how to identify opportunities to expand your network.

Please note: the mentoring program does not guarantee a job. Together with your mentor, you will learn HOW to apply for jobs independently and with confidence!

About Triodos Bank

We are living in a pivotal time in our history. The wave of change is happening and offers us great opportunities for systemic transformation: from regenerative agriculture, empowerment of marginalized groups and smart energy solutions to circular economy companies. We want to be one of the changemakers who accelerate this transformation by using money as a force for positive change and through advocacy.

As a values-driven financial institution, we make money work for positive social, environmental and cultural change. To ensure our impact in these areas is positive, we only finance sustainable businesses and only use the ‘real’ money entrusted to us by savers and investors in the real economy.

People make the difference: we at Triodos Bank know that all too well. Together we actively contribute to a sustainable society and that of course starts with our employees.
