About the mentor program
Ochtendmensen offers a professional mentoring program and is looking for mentees who would like to reduce their distance from the labor market and/or would like to be helped in the search for a possible job. In the mentoring process, the young professionals of Ochtendmensen are linked to people with a refugee background for a period of three months. During these three months you and your mentor will work on the following topics, among others:
- Where do you stand on the Dutch labor market?
- What is your talent, knowledge and skills?
- What do you want to achieve on the Dutch labor market? Which route do you want to take to get there?
We also work practically, for example, on improving your CV, providing guidance in creating a professional LinkedIn page and preparing and planning network conversations to better present yourself in the Dutch labor market.
What do we expect from you?
- Enthusiasm and plenty of energy to take steps on the Dutch labor market;
- You have an open, proactive attitude and you would like to develop personally and professionally;
- You have a refugee background and an HBO or WO thinking level;
- You master the Dutch language at a minimum B1+ level;
- You are motivated to participate. You make time for three live moments with all participants. In addition, you have weekly contact with your mentor, and you meet live once every three weeks;
