Mentor program for IT professionals Nationale Nederlanden 2022

Nationale Nederlanden, together with the Refugee Talent Hub, organizes a mentor program for IT talents with a refugee background. So, do you aspire to a career in IT, but you don't know what steps you need to take in your career? Do you want to expand your network in IT? Or are you going to start an IT study soon? Then register for Nationale Nederlanden's new mentor program!

About the mentor program

 Nationale Nederlanden offers a mentorship program and is looking for mentees with an IT background. In the mentoring process, the IT professionals of Nationale Nederlanden are linked to you for a period of 6 months. During that period, the IT professional acts as a mentor and gives you tips and tricks in your search for work in the IT sector. The mentor opens his or her network to you.

What do we expect from you?

  •  You have an IT background (You are following an IT training course, have taken it or you plan to take such a course soon).
  •  Your CV is in our database.
  •  You have an open, proactive attitude, are eager to learn and want to share information with your mentor.
  •  You are motivated to participate. You make time for the online kick-off with all participants. In addition, you make time for an (online) appointment with your mentor once every two weeks.

Important data

  •  Kick-off: Tuesday, September 13, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM (During the kick-off you will be told who you have been paired with).
  •  2 Check-in moments mentors: Tuesday October 25 & Tuesday December 13, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (During these sessions you share your experiences with your peers and you can ask Refugee Talent Hub questions about challenges you are experiencing).
  •  Closing event: Tuesday February 14 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
  •  Where possible, sessions are held at the office in The Hague

How do I register?

 Register quickly for this program and make sure that your CV has been uploaded. You can register until July 14. If you are selected, we expect you to be present at the kick-off, check-ins and the closing event of the process.
