Job opportunities ABN AMRO & Municipality of Amsterdam: retraining as a Bank Acceptor
ABN AMRO, together with the Municipality of Amsterdam, is looking for status holders who want to retrain as Bank Acceptors
About the program
- After a pre-selection, you will be retrained by the Municipality of Amsterdam in a 2-month preliminary process.
- During these two months you will receive intensive guidance to obtain your WFT Basic certification.
- In addition, you will work with a language coach to get your Dutch language level to B2 level.
- During this process you will be supported by a job coach.
- After 1 month you will be introduced to the managers of ABN AMRO.
- After a successful interview round, you will complete the last month of training and attend some information sessions at ABN AMRO.
- Are you not selected at ABN AMRO? The municipality will then look into introductions at other companies and you can still obtain your certification.
**After training**
After successfully completing your training, you will start working at ABN AMRO in a paid job. During the first 2 months of probation at ABN AMRO you will participate in the teams and at the same time obtain the WFT Mortgage Credit certification that is mandatory for this role. Your team and buddy are ready to help you with questions, and the municipality's coach will also support you during these two months. In the following months you will also work on obtaining other certifications, such as WFT Vermogen or MiFID Informeren en Beleggen.
The roll
- In this role you ensure that our intermediaries and advisors can fully focus on what they are good at: advising on mortgages or investments, for example. With you as an acceptor, we make this possible together.
- We will train and educate you so that you can soon use your expertise and become a full-fledged sparring partner for our intermediaries and advisors.
- You ask the right questions and give the appropriate answer. You usually do this by telephone, but we also use other digital contact options.
- Our intermediaries and advisors know in detail how to arrange their applications.

- You speak Dutch at A2 or B1 level (or higher)
- You are curious and open to learning a new profession

- You are registered in the Municipality of Amsterdam
- Experience in the financial/banking sector and/or experience with customer contact is an advantage
- You are available full-time
- You are available flexibly: sometimes working in the evening (until 9:00 PM) or on Saturdays
