IT program Achmea 2022

IT program Achmea 2022

There are many IT vacancies within Achmea that may be suitable for status holders. As a follow-up to the successful 2021 program, Achmea, NewBees and the Refugee Talent Hub are organizing a one-year program again this year, in which status holders will work paid at Achmea and receive guidance in the areas of professional development and language.

About Achmea

Achmea is one of the largest financial service providers and the largest insurer in the Netherlands. More than 13,000 people work at Achmea branches throughout the country: in Zeist, Leiden, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Leeuwarden and Tilburg. Achmea was founded more than two hundred years ago based on the belief that together you are stronger than alone. Today, Achmea still believes in the power of together. Achmea employees work in a place that best suits the work they are doing at that moment. This means that we do some of the work from home (where possible). And if the work requires it, we work in the office.

About the program

A group of 6 to 8 status holders will get paid work at Achmea, in various IT departments. The positions include IT administrator for the Achmea payment system, Database administrator / Database engineer, .Net Sitecore Developer, Outsystems Developer, Data Engineer, Web / App developer and Front-end / Back-end Developer. The selected candidates start simultaneously and are guided as a group; they receive language support and job coaching. At the same time, the managers and colleagues of the newcomers are informed and coached in their role.

 The plan is as follows:
