Introduction

Finding a job can be difficult. Maybe you don't know many people, you have little knowledge about how things work in the Netherlands, or you find it difficult to meet employers. That is why Omron and Refugee Talent Hub are organizing this mentor program for you. There are only a few places left, so register quickly for the Omron mentor program!

What does the mentor program entail?

You will receive support from a mentor at Omron for 6 months. Together with your mentor you will learn what steps you can take to find a job in the Netherlands. By the end of the program, you and your mentor (depending on your needs) may have worked on:

  •  Creating a strong resume
  •  Building a LinkedIn profile
  •  Create a short self-introduction (pitch)
  •  Write a convincing application letter
  •  Practice job interviews
  •  Expanding your professional network
  •  Insight into the Dutch labor market

**If you actively participated, you will receive a certificate at the end of the program.

During the mentor program, your mentor shares his knowledge, skills and network with you. But your mentor can also learn a lot from you! You will also meet other participants and learn more about working and Omron

The mentoring program is not a full-time course; It also does not guarantee that you will find a job at Omron. You will speak with your mentor approximately once a week for 6 months. During these conversations you will work on your professional development, which will increase both your self-confidence and your skills to find suitable work in the Netherlands. You will also participate in events and online meetings with other mentors and mentees.
