Introduction
Are you interested in learning a new skill? Are you curious about programming, but never knew how to get started? KPMG is offering a workshop for refugees for the second time to help you get started with programming.
The course consists of three online sessions, which take place on:
- Monday, August 24 (10:00–12:00)
- Monday, August 31 (10:00–12:00)
- Monday, September 7 (10:00–12:00)
The course is an introduction to programming in Python . You will use the free Python course developed by the University of Michigan and offered via Coursera . Upon successful completion of the course, you can earn a Coursera certificate , which you can add to your CV and LinkedIn profile.
The three sessions build upon one another. Therefore, we encourage participants to attend all sessions.
As part of this course, KPMG also shares experiences about working at KPMG. This gives you insight into how programming skills are applied in practice.

About the workshop
KPMG organizes this program in which you are introduced to the Python programming language. The introduction is based on the professional Python course developed by the University of Michigan , which is available for free.
This course provides you with the knowledge and tools to continue the programming course independently afterwards.
During the three sessions, KPMG professionals will answer your questions and guide you in learning Python. Additionally, they will share their experiences regarding the use of Python in the business world and demonstrate how programming is applied in practice.
The lessons are taught in English .
The course is intended for beginners and is therefore particularly suitable for people with little or no programming experience. You only need curiosity and motivation!
