Social Return on Investment (SROI) Administrative Support – Role Description

As a work experience candidate, you’ll join the team focused on Social Return on Investment (SROI) and making a positive social impact at Arcadis Netherlands. You’ll support the team with a variety of administrative and organizational tasks, helping ensure our SROI projects run smoothly while contributing to our broader social mission.

What Will You Do?

  • Enter, manage, and update data in the SROI registration system
  • Call stakeholders and contacts to gather or verify information
  • Prepare and assist with organizing meetings (sending invitations, booking rooms, taking minutes)
  • Support with collecting, checking, and archiving relevant documents
  • Contribute ideas to improve administrative processes and flag issues
  • Receive strong mentorship and the chance to grow your administrative skills in a socially impactful setting
  • Together with the SROI team, you’ll explore your interests and take on tasks that suit you

The Team

You’ll work within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability team—a small, committed group of passionate professionals focused on making a sustainable impact at Arcadis.

Your Profile

  • Background in business administration, social work, sustainability, communication, or a similar field
  • Interest in administrative work and working with systems
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to get things right
  • Curious, proactive, independent, and a true team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch (required); English proficiency is a plus
  • Passion for social issues, sustainability, and diversity, and a desire to contribute to social impact

What We Expect From You

  • You have a refugee background
  • Valid residence permit (status holder in the Netherlands)
  • Language: Proficiency in both English (minimum B2 level) and Dutch (preferably B1 level) for effective communication
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
  • Willingness to travel to Amersfoort, Rotterdam, Arnhem, Zwolle, or Den Bosch
  • Personality: Results-driven, eager to learn, and a collaborative team player
